League of Legends World Championship Grand Finals it will be between SK Telecom T1 and KOO Tigers. Both sides are from South Korea; SKT came to the event as a favorite to win it all. KOO emerged from a second place finish in the group stage to take down KT Rolster and Fnatic in the elimination rounds.
The Mercedes-Benz Arena hosted the League of Legends 2015 World Championship Finals on 31 October 2015. After the group stages, quarterfinals and semifinals in Paris, London and Brussels, the two remaining teams will battle it out at the Final in Berlin.
Final result: SKT rises above KOO Tigers 3-1 to become the 2015 World Champion.
For the second time in three years, SKTelecom T1 has achieved the pinnacle of competitive League of Legends, taking home the Summoner’s Cup as the 2015 World Champions. SKT went 15-1 throughout Worlds, and the team’s decisive victory over fellow Korean powerhouse, the KOO Tigers, came after four games in the Finals’ Best of 5 series.
